Baptism is a public proclamation that takes what is invisible (our faith) and makes it visible, and as such, is an initiation into Christ’s visible church.
For this reason, we consider baptism a vital step of obedience in the life of every disciple of Christ and will only receive into membership those who have been baptized as believers in Jesus. At Fellowship Church, we practice water baptism, by immersion, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for those who have believed in Christ and have been born again. It is an outward sign of our union with Christ in his death and resurrection, our new life in Him, and the washing away of our sins by His blood. Our baptism process consists of the following steps:
1) Read our statement on baptism (this page)
2) Submit an application (link below)
3) Interview with a church leader
4) Share testimony with the church (story video)
