Responsibilities: Administration and women’s ministry

Family: No family of my own yet. I come from a family of eight, and most of my relatives live in Arkansas.

Hometown: Pulaski, Tennessee

Education and Experience: I studied Music Ministry at Boyce College and graduated with a B.S. in Biblical Studies in 2010. I have worked for 17 years as a piano instructor and currently operate a private studio. I also counsel for two Christian ministries: Scarlet Hope, Louisville, an outreach to women in the adult entertainment industry, and Choices Life Resource Center, New Albany, IN, a pro-life pregnancy resource center.

What brought you to Fellowship? My sister learned about Fellowship at Boyce College and suggested I check it out! When I first visited in 2015, I was immediately drawn to the genuine sense of family and the deep gospel community. Most significantly, I saw a gathering of believers who delighted to learn the Word, and I knew I would have many avenues for Scripture study in a church like Fellowship.

What do you love most about Louisville? It’s a beautiful city! When I first moved to Louisville (from a town with a population of 8,000), I thought I wouldn’t like “big city life,” and now I’ve come to enjoy it.

Favorite Movie/TV Show: I’ve never watched much TV. I prefer biographical movies, and I am particularly drawn to accounts from the World War II era. Corrie ten Boom’s story in The Hiding Place is a long-time favorite.

Favorite Music/Band: Verbatim Scripture-songs, Keith & Kristyn Getty, Sovereign Grace Music, The Piano Guys

Favorite Book: Anything by Joni Eareckson Tada & Elisabeth Elliot Gren

Hobbies/Interests: Music, blogging, photography

Favorite Teams: None
